Hi All, posting this here as it applies to two models,

Models Affected Inspiron 14R and Vostro 3450.
Device Dell 5530 WWAN PCIE card (3G and GPS)
    OS Windows 7 64 bit.

The card drivers load fine on both machines and able to use 3G and GPS using "Dell Mobile Broadband Manager" (DMBM) See below; ( Modem ID and net ID blanked)

However when I install Dell Wireless Manager (DWM) (similar to Ericsson Wireless Manager) it fails to pick the D5530, gives me a "No Mobile Broadband Modem" status message. I have uninstalled DMBM and installed DWM to no avail. tries many versions of drivers and the problem is there.

The wmcore service is running. What could be the problem? I have really run out of options to get DWM going. Kindly advise.
