So yeah, as the title says i'm looking to get a refund for my laptop. So far within the past year I've had to call up about three separate times to fix issues. I think most of the issues are documented, and it's still under warranty. I bought it back in july 2011. I want to return it because I bought it for school, not as a lifestyle/hobby whenever it breaks down. It's been recently fixed, and I'm still having issues with it two weeks later.
#1 - Replaced motherboard to fix loose right USB port & tried to fix cursor issues.
#2 - Replaced monitor & keyboard to address display & cursor issues.
#3 - Replaced motherboard when all three usb ports failed & had to replace charger since it wasn't working.
It's not that I've had horrible experience with Dell Support, in fact I've had a great experience so far. I'm just tired of working with something that breaks down every two months and has issues pop up everywhere. Oh, did I forget to mention that the webcam doesn't work either? The ideal end point for me would to switch over to a Macbook Air.
So, the whole point of this thread was to ask what my chances are and how to go about getting a refund. I'm currently researching the prices and such. Thanks for any help!
PS. This is where I can post this right?
