i am going to be honest since i need an honest feed back on this. I will heavily use the following.
    1. LR5 - Light room 5
    2. Java based thin client to connect with work machine.
    3. Citrix.
    4. Run SQL DB and Studio.
    5. Run a bunch of xls and word / powerpoint.

But please note that that i will not use light room and work at the same time.
oh yes movies and music as well.

here is a screen shot of the temp and utilization.

if we see closely the cpu ranges between 6-15 % and the temp is upwards 63%c all the way up to mid 70% this thing feels hot on the lap. So hot that you actually cant work on it.
All the charger gets messy hot while charging, wondering if this is a lemon or it is the same with all XPS machines.

If this the same with all XPS machines then i need to decide if i cant live with this or go return this computer.
