    the reason is probably because their is not the driver for vista. that is the best guess I have

    I'd say that there just aren't any drivers for it as indicated. Which is funny, cause Vista is supposed to be all over the new media and hi-def stuff...

    It's probably not worth the investment right now.

    It's still undetermined on whether HD-DVD or whether blu-ray will prevail.
