I didn't know costco sold this. Thats a pretty good price also. I just hope this is a typo....

That would be crazy!!!! My xps has a 17" screen and the 1920x1200 makes everything very small.

Quality should be better quality than the inspiron line. There are rumors flying around about the ODM, but they aren't varifiable.

Yea, thats a typo, same with the speaker stuff (subwoofer or whatever) methinks that they just took off some of the specs from the XPS M1710, lol.
The price at costco is EXCELLENT in my opinion, they made it fit within my budget. Before I found it at Costco the M1210 wasnt really somehting I considered. Its a really nice config, the TV 2nr is kinda superfluous but if it comes with it, then whatever. Everything else in the Costco one is exactly how I wanted it. I priced it out on teh Dell website, and its $1768, so almost $400 savings. I was too lazy to get an education price for it, so yea.

Metamorphical: What are the rumors flying about? I think that rumors aer better than nothing, and I have already heard that its not an Asus built computer....
btw, I see you have an i6000, is Dell quality really that bad? I have a friend who is screaming at me saying that Dell inspiron (I was considering a E1705 with the 750 cuopon) is like a Yugo quality wise and that XPS is like a Chevy. theyre not that bad really are they?
