I am from the UK and was going to order a M1330. :)

    But I came across a problem. :(

After configuring the laptop late Thursday night with a T7300 (options were T7100, T7300, T7500 and T7700) I thought I would leave it to the morning to place the order (it was late).

To my shock in the morning, I went to configure to the same specs but there was no option for a T7300, it had been taken off leaving the T7100, T7500 and T7700.

Do Dell have a habit of changing the options available?

I tried contacting dell and all they said was that there was now a T7500 available (it was always available).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Same here... I was going to order a T7300 too, but I don't know what to do now!

By the way, do any of you guys think a 1.8 Ghz CPU would still be good?
    I'd use my XPS for:
    -playing games, old and new
-doing graphical stuff like photoshop, adobe premiere and so on
-working with it for school, with i.e. Word, Firefox, Excel and so on
-enjoying media like: movies, songs, youtube, pictures and so on

T7100 would be fine for the things listed above but the T7300 would have been better as it has a 4MB cache and .20MHz extra to speed things up a little (a tiny amount) but it would have still been better.
Try ordering by phone with dell and they should do it for you, maybe its just mistake on the site which there has been a lot of lately.

Would it be a stock issue?

The support services make out that they dont know, and keep refering me to the sales hotline

I think it's just a stock problem; there is not reason why the T7300 could not fit into the XPS1330... Configurations are updated frequently, I think this option will appear again soon.

Well, I will order by phone anyway, so I'll just ask about it then!

Thanks for the advice though! ;)

I would highly doubt that it is a stock issue. Dell carries no inventory and order's their parts as needed from what i understand. Therefore it would be more likely to be an intel issue than dell. I am not an expert on dell, but from what i have been told by kiosk employees, who know EVERYTHING ;) , this is how dell operates.

yea i was getting a quote from a dell account manager person ( [email protected] ) i got about £150 off! and he didnt say the t7300 wasnt available and it all went through, so this is quite odd, although i actully havnt bought it yet, though iv sent emails asking whats happened :)
