Would anyone like to comment on how the Canadian computer company, MDG, can sell units so much cheaper than other companies, such as Dell? I've heard some things (such as inferior components), but I was wondering if anyone knows the real skinny?

    MDG is still in business?

MDG is basically a scam, you really can't compare Dell with MDG..

Oh, yes. Still in business as always. But what is it that makes them not a good deal?

The guy already said it: The whole company is garbage. They almost always use bait & switch tactics, if you do any google search along the lines of "MDG complaints" you'll get pages. Now some people say that it's an alright company, but I personally would never touch it. I've seen some of their laptops, and build quality isn't a strength. Neither is their tech support. Also, no exchange or returns.

Ok, pretty much what I've read elsewhere. Thanks.
