Hoping to vent and get some help. The network card on my xps died. Dell replaced it. Although I can get on the internet, I can't access my printer or my homegroup wirelessly. I called Dell who told me if I wanted help, I'd have to pay for software support or do a reformatting. I worked my way up through three people and got the same message... they didn't have the knowledge to help with networking. Urghhhhhhhh.

So any help on what configuring I have to do to get things to network again?

    Thanks.

If you can transmit and receive data on the network your card is working fine. So the problem isn't your wireless card, but something else in your network topology.

Without knowing your network it really isn't all that easy to help you.

How do you connect to the printer? Is it shared or networked?

I connect wirelessly. Each computer has its own software installed.

The printer is wireless? Check the user manual, you may need to add the wireless network for the printer.
