ii am tierd of looking. so i think i am going to spend more mony on a notebook
and am going to buy a dell inspieron 9300. with go6800.

    thats a good notebook right??

going to buy it from dell.ca

but before i buy i want to ask if dell has a worldwide/global warrenty???

    this is what it costs

    Sub-total $2,148.00

Shipping $0.00 Estimate Shipping & Handling and Tax

    GST $150.36

    PST $172.38

    HST $0.00

    Total Price9 $2,470.74

because my mom is in canada, she is going to bring it back to me. than i will get the taxes back. in this case what is the tax?? only gst or gst+hst???

if i buy a dell inspieron 9300 is it then possible to transfer the warranty from Canada -> Faroe Islands where i live??

i kind of looked into this earlier coz i wanted to take a laptop from US to India. Looks like if you get the 3 year, at home, etc, etc warranty, international coverage is included in that. for all others you have to pay extra. there's a form somewhere on dell for that -- if you talk to a online sales person he/she will help you get to that form. hope this helps.
oh yea, 9300 with the 256 mb graphics card seems kickass! I'm going to buy myself the same one in a few hours :). there's a 40% off deal going on + 2%off dpa + 35$ off coupon (from ebay nicrosoft guy) = $1250 (original $2185).
