The ram just says 512 ram shared , 2 dimm...I take that as 2 256 mb ram cards...Im not really sure on the ram type though..that is why Im here ...Is it ddr ram pc 2700? Becuase im most likely ordering a 512 mb card the day I get it.

Going to Crucial.com website, it lists memory for both the B130 and B120 as
    DDR2 PC2-4200 RAM

Justin, it would be wise to upgrade the RAM. I believe the notebook has two memory slots. The laptop I configured with 256M says: 256MB,DDR2,533,1 DIMM. The other laptop, with 512M says: 512MB,DDR2,533,2 DIMM.

So, It would be cool if you could just buy a 512M and have 768M. 512 should be enough for almost anything you'll do on the B1x0 series. 768M definately. On a desktop machine I would recommend 1GB min.
