This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Well if they don't have anymore and they offer a similar model one size up or a refund, I don't see a problem. It could take them months to process all of those builds especially if they do not have the unit in production...

    but as usual people think that they are entitled to everything risk free...

    Edit: My 14" Vostro 3540 weighs more than that inspiron 15" especially with the 9 cell battery that is attached to it.

    They didn't notify buyers of a special deal they were going to fill the order with a laptop of at most 1/2 the value.... it's another notch in the bad pattern belt of deceit and irresponsibility on large scales from Dell.

    Nothings perfect, and mistakes are made.. but this is ridiculous...this is not a woops, they made a decision on purpose and hoped - again - no one would care or notice. and most people wouldn't....is my opinion, based off the facts and dell's previous history regarding things like this.

    Simply buyer beware that some companies choose to take advantage because most consumers don't know any better... that's b.s.
