Hey, I bought a dell laptop about 1.5 years ago. Last year I was having some problems with my laptop and I contacted the customer care and after many attempts made by the Dell people they finally replaced my system in December 2015.

Now, I know that the warranty of battery of dell laptops is for a year only. But in my case I got a whole new system with a new battery. So is my battery still in warranty or do these people count warranty from the original billing period?
