    Hi!

1: What is the difference between bluetooth and regular cordless / wireless?

2: My lappy already has the bluetooth built in. Do I need the small adapter included with the keyboard / Mouse bundle?

    Thank You!

    1) bluetooth uses bluetooth (a bit like infrared) to comunicate, other cordless/wireless stuff uses radio waves (RF)

    2) no, just use the one built in

Bluetooth and Infrared are not very similar... Bluetooth also uses Radio Frequency technology and operates on the 2.4Ghz band...

The major benefits of Bluetooth is range and compatibility compared to typical wireless keyboard sets.

AFAIK, Bluetooth is more similar to infrared than it is to RF.

At the end of the day it just emulates an RS232 (serial) connection anyway!

If your laptop is equipped with Bluetooth, and you want to add an external keyboard/mouse, you won't need any adapters, cables, or dongles.

This is very nice; USB add-in dongles absolutely suck, they get broken easily, and can get lost too.
