I checked my order status ealier today, it sais in production - estimated ship july 31st for the m1330
checked it 10 minutes ago and now it sais order changed, called dell and they cancelled the original one and added a new one - NEW SHIP DATE - 8/23
that is rediculous, im so pissed right now its unbelievable - i called dell and have been yelling on the phone since the second i saw it but they said they can't do anything. the're trying to tell me its only an estimate - well my estimate still changed 25 DAYS!!!!!!!!!
someone respond to this with your thoughts and comments just so i can get more pissed everytime i have to think about it.

i did at first, but while on the phoned they were changing the prices so he upped the price so not really?
i found out that only the original sales rep can change and re-enter an order - i just emailed him 16 times, all the same message to ensure i get a reply
i won't get a reply till monday but atleast i found out that hes the only one that could of done that and i'm praying to God almighty that i can get that estimated ship date back
atleast 16 emails will ensure he sees it. -
Dude... that sucks.... I think I know why though. When I talked to a Dell Rep today. They told me the m1330 was completely out of stocked and they're backordered up to their eyeballs. Great huh?

I have a feeling if you press them you can get some money knocked off the price, or some extras thrown in to "make up" for the shipping change.

I've been kind to the reps by they're always rude to me and don't seem to care about anything I say.

Still doesn't completely make sense... why would they cancel the order and reenter it just because it's on backorder. Do they have some kind of system requirement that if an order isn't filled after a certain period of time, it has to be deleted and rekeyed?? That would be weird...

Well, I don't have the same laptop as you, but my order has been bumped back a week for no reason also. They told me the day it was supposed to ship that it'd be delayed. Nice huh? The e-mail didn't specify why, but when I called to ask, they said it was due to a backorder of LCD screens. But, what really gets me is why people who ordered theirs after mine were able to get theirs sooner because I ordered back in 6/28.

All these cancellations and bumps have me checking my status every few hours. Last checked my system is still in production, ship date is still same, and now they added an estimated delivery date. Hopefully things stay on track.
Im wondering since I paid regular price, no discounts or perks, my order survives all the cuts? If I do get cut or bumped, then I'll ask for a discount. As long as I get the order when promised I dont have a problem paying the price. -
Yea, i hope your order gets completely cancelled after you wait for 2 month, ass hole. stealing student discounts and then yelling at a rep for delaying your order. they will cancel it because you are a complete piece of **** and you know it.
