I'm thinking about getting the d620 very soon, but am concerned about the quality, especially about supposed overheating problems (back center of laptop) and the screen characteristics (cloudy blah screens).

Could owners of d620 notebooks please comment on these issues?

How does the screen quality relate to other dells or other computers, say the average Asus sceen.

    Thanks

    Cy

I have had both the Intel GMA and Nvidia graphics and the screen quality with Intel is Dim. However, it is no different from the other Dell screens. With Nvidia, the screen quality and brightness is as bright, IMO, to the glossy screens.

The center is very warm and uncomfortable to me. The wrist rests and sides upon which they rest on the lap at warm but not hot.
