I have ordered my I9400 on Apr 14 and got estimated delivery date 24Apr,04. On their web site my order status is not even in pre-production and for last three days they are shifting production and delivery day, now is estimated delivery day - May 05, 2006. Is this typical?? Should I call them and start b****ing??? :D

I suggest you call. Normal time from order to delivery is about a week. When I ordered mine, it showed on pre-production the next day after ordering. Dell is very well known for overestimating dates and not informing its customers accurately. You should just give them a call or chat with customer service online, that should get the ball rolling.

It looks like dell web site status order was not updated. Now it shows the order being in production with start date Apr 17th. Delivery date is now May 2nd, but hopefully it will happen sooner! :)

It will be....Production takes about 3 business days...I take it that it's in boxing, right? If it's there, it will probably ship on the 20th (tomorrow) and if you paid next day delivery (it doesnt' really matter anyway) you should have it either by friday or next monday (considering they don't deliver on saturday).
