I wasn't sure if I should post this in the hardware components or Dell forum, or Linux forum, but since it pertains to an 9400(e1705) I guess I'll post this in here because what is true for one vendor may not be true for another.

I'm considering purchasing a 9400 with a 7900GS video card, my question is this: When you opt for a discrete video card, does the motherboard still contain an integrated graphics card (in this case GMA950) or do Dell opt for motherboard that doesn't contain an integrated card?

I ask because i'd really like to use the 7900GS in Windows and when using Linux or the BSDs I'd like to be able to go into the BIOS and enable the GMA950.

While nVidia has been good to me on the Linux desktop, can't say the same about the laptop.
