When I bought my laptop I skimpted on the battery so that I could upgrade the video card. I got the basic battery and needless to say im not happy with the lasting time. Any suggestions other than buying a better battery?

Well when you say your not satisfied with the battery what do you mean? Your not satisfied with the battery while gaming, web browsing, word processing, watching movies?

Well other then setting it on maximum battery selection you can't really do much to change the length it will stay on. Too get more you will have to buy but thats not what you want to do. Therefore you are stuck in a rut unless you can access an outlet where ever you go.

Turning down screen brightness and turning off Wifi and BT if/when you don’t use them helps.
