I currently have a d620 with the 14.1" wxga+ screen and the screen suffers a grainy out of focus appearance. It makes it hard to look at the screen for an extended period of time.

I am thinking about returning my d620 to get the e1505 with a wsxga+ screen with truelife and I was wondering if the e1505's screen suffered the same problem that the D620 has.

    Thanks

I bought and returned 2 E1505s. The screens had terrible lines on it on the top left corner. I had it sent to Dell for repair, and returned with no change to the screen - and it was returned in a dirty used box, the laptop was dusty.
Dell service (non-business) is truly horrendous.

I would avoid the home/Home Office line of notebooks. Just get your D620 fixed.

    Ex-Dell fan.

They've already replaced my d620 screen, the problem is still there where it seems very washed out and grainy.

I probably just got a bad batch of 1505s...but TWICE was enough for me..and dealing with the customer service was truly a pain.

I have the AU XGA screen. It's beautiful. I have heard very good things about the WSXGA screen.

I'm on my brand new just received 1505 ... the screen is pretty awful. I'm not sure what to do now. Washed out and grainy...

Grainy... I don't suppose it's the old sparkly effect that haunts some Dell LCD's thats bothering some users.
