So Dell offered a replacement for this system:
    Inspiron E1505
    Intel Core Duo 1.6 GHz
    1 GB RAM
    60 GB HDD
    1650x1050 RESOLUTION
    Integrated graphics

    and they're replacing with:

    Inspiron 1564:
"BASE (ASSEMBLY OR GROUP)..., NOTEBOOK..., INSPIRON..., CTO, 1564, RETAIL"
"MODULE..., COVER..., LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY..., IMR, BLACK, 1564"

But this is a 1366x768 screen max which seems like a downgrade. Is there some way to get a higher resolution screen? I understand that 16:10 is now almost dead but at least a 900p screen @ 1600x900 would be understandable? Is there anyway to get a system with either the 900p or 1080p resolution?

    Thanks

I got stuck with a 1366x768 screen. Their argument was that RGBLED is an upgrade, regardless of resolution. I needed the laptop urgently, so I couldn't wait to see if a higher res screen showed up, but I imagine if I'd pushed harder and waited longer (probably a few more weeks) a unit would have appeared.

Its not an RGBLED and they offer a 1080p screen on the Studio 15 line :| I'll see tomorrow if they can change the screen or something
