I placed an order yesterday under my premier account and I got the acknowlegment of the order but never the confirmation. I tried to call my account rep to figure out the order and she's out of the office (2nd to the 6th). I tried the backup next and he is also out of the office from the 2nd to the 6th.
So it's bothersome to think my order isnt going to get confirmation to start the build proccess until the 6th. I hate paying for next day and getting it delayed for other reasons.

Just an update to close this out. The configurator allowed me to choose something that they wouldn't build. 64gb SSD with windows 7 pro with xp mode installed. Complained it needed a 128gb drive or larger. My account rep was out of town, and so was the fallback rep. That is why my order didn't get proccessed.
I was able to cancel the order today and re-order. -
One thing to keep in mind: The next day you are paying for is shipping, not building.
The only way to get something shipped "Next Day" is to order a FastTrack system: Dell FastTrack -
Yes, I understand that. I may have not been clear though. My original ship time was the 12th. I was hoping it was going to ship early so I had them overnight it as I am going out of town on the 10th. This was a combination of build time and ship time and paying for overnight shipping to get it before I leave. Since it isnt possible now, no reason to pay for overnight.
Dell holiday shutdown?
