    Hi,

I own a 1 year old 6000, and I've been readying around that people are able to get almost 2-3 hour battery life, while my max at any given task is only an 1 hour and 20min. I might have changed some of the default specs in the beginning, but don't remember if I did so or not. Anyways, can somebody tell me how I can get more battery life out of my laptop? PS. I have the regular battery, I think hte 6cell one.

    I would have to say:
1 setting it for portable/laptop for one thing.
2Adjusting screen brightness to less than 100%
3 Wifi on only if you're using it

I was getting 5.5 hours with WIFI off and dimmed to about 1/2
Real time with multitasking and WIFI was 3.5 hours to 4 Hrs.
