    Hey there, posted a while ago. I am still here for a few months but i want to get an xps 1530.

    Not sure if I can order one from austrailia or somewhere around here, because they don't seem to be here, but is it true if I order one from another country, when I return to Canada, I have no warranty or support ?

    Any other insight would be great on if there is a way I can get one here without a huge amount of shipping.

    Hey shol. Not sure if I've already answered this, but here goes:

    Sadly, the Philippine distributor only offers business machines. That means Latitudes and Vostros. I've already asked about the XPS line (I was looking into getting a 1530 if I can sell off my D830) but they were explicit about it - not only do they NOT distribute it, they don't offer any form of support for it either.

    I'm not sure about your options for International Warranty if you purchase from here, though. I bought mine from the US and had it hand-carried from New York. I got the 4-year Complete Care International Warranty with Accidental Damage coverage... only to find out that the Philippine ASP only provides Parts-Only support.

    If you really want to get your system from here, I recommend you give them a call and ask them first. I'll PM you the number, if you want it.
