Used to be $195, now $225. On the positive side, the T7500 used to be $300, and is now also $225, i.e. you may as well get the T7500. I wonder if they are running short on the T7300?

Dell prices change from week to week. Just check back everyweek until you find the setting and price you like. Usually you can get the best prices when RAM upgrades or Graphics upgrade are offered "free"...

I agree that DELL prices change every week but this mainly applies to free upgrades and the baseline prices... The prices for the individual components change all of a sudden too reflecting their current stock and other stuff....

I agree that the "free" upgrades (on the base model, not as part of package deals) result in the best pricing, but I'd advise caution on checking back every week. It's been several weeks since they offered the "free" 2GB/160GB RAM/HD deal, and so Inspirons have been consistently pricing out higher. You can't always assume that any given deal is coming back anytime soon.

I had £150 price diffrence I cancelled and ordered again. Now there is another price diffrence around £50, I wont cancel and reorder becuase of the £50 but when I originally placed an order I asked for a discount on the RAM got one. I ordered 4gb ram but reading the forum here someone mentioned that vista 32bit reads only 3.25gb basically 775mb unused almost 1gb unused. Today dell inspiron have an option of 3gb and if you downgrade from 4gb to 3gb you save £200. Now I am thinking if its worth changing the order which means delay etc or ask for some compention like a free dell remote etc. What do you guys suggest?

at the time of order I did ask if they could offer a cheaper option(3gb) but was unavailable.

My configuration is about $200 more than when I ordered mine. I also notice today that the T7300 is no longer listed as a processor option.
