I am using windows vista home permiun OS (SP2, 32 bit), which I got with my dell inspiron 6400 laptop. Recently I bought intel pro wireless 5100 and 4965 agn adapter cards to upgrade my laptop's pro intel 3945 abg card. On installition it does recognised card and also say's ' device working properly' in adapters property tab. I spoke with dell tech guys before buying these cards and they said these are compatible cards but both of them does not shows any wireless network available for connection. I am using d link N router from Virgin media. When spoke with dell guys again they said it must be problem with compatiblity of these card with my system & need some alteration with OS(in vista) and needs to fix it but will be charge for using their service. I am totally upset with wrong advice given each time from dell tech guys. I will appreciate if someone would help me with this??
    Thanks,

Okay did you download Intel's latest driver for the appropriate OS?

You can't use the 3945 AGB driver with the 4965 AGN driver.
