So I have next day business shipping on my invoice, and I just checked and it's shipping by DHL ground. The agent is telling me there was no time to upgrade the shipping, even though next day has been on my invoice since the day I bought the laptop.

and add in a bag and some accessories or something for the time-cirtical meetings you missed because u don't have your laptop
then sue their asses. -
Yeah I think suing might be going a little far but they should compensate you for the shipping.

Heh you think thats bad? I ordered mine with the 4965AGN wifi card, Spdif cable, Bluetooth, And Bluetooth headset. I got a wired headset and the 3965ABG Wifi card and the other stuff just didnt turn up. I returned the whole thing.

How far does the laptop have to go? If they ship it ground and you get it the next day, Dell did their part.

Dell is just plain moronic on more than shipping. I ordered a midnight blue inspiron last night for the full price and it then showed up as black. I called dell and said change it back to blue so the lady is like you have too many discounts for me to just change so I canceled your order and will have to replace it with blue. I said ok and was frustrated about the delayed shipping and then to top it off she wanted to charge me an extra $20 for the blue colo that I had already paid for. I just said no and had her place the order as a jet black one and all they ended up doing was messing my ship date up. Stupid dell rep ppl.

good point, but I was really hoping to be a wherewolf. whatever black or blue both are good. Its still too bad though that they didn't accidentally give me yellow. Longer time at the computer would be nice

Dell shipping must vary a lot then. I got an email saying my ordered shipped yesterday at 6 am. And it was received today!
Looks like the one day shipping does happen sometimes. -
Original order date: 6/28
Original ship date: 7/16
Original delivery date: 7/17
On 7/16, I get an e-mail notice telling my order would be delayed a week for no reason.
New ship date: 7/23
New delivery date: 7/24
On 7/20, I get a call saying my order has been shipped. I never recall it being in testing or boxing stage from website order status page.
I check the tracking number: product not found. Carrier not available.
I check my online order status. It says it's been shipped.
Est delivery date: 7/25-27?? Wtf? I have next day business shipping. I expect to recieve it Monday. If not, when I get it, I am gonna test all the problems people have been complaining about, and if it truely is a disappointment, I think I am just gonna get the dv6500t or the Vaio FZ. -
Next day shipping upgrade is a waist of your time. I don't understand why ya'll complain about this .
