    Dell is getting a call today! Display blacks out!

    Just a minute ago, my display began flickering black whenever my notebook is not on a completely flat surface. Has anyone else experienced this problem?

    The computer is responsive to typing when the screen blacks out. I should note that I am on battery power. Has anyone else experienced this trouble? Could this be an indicator of a bigger problem to come?

    What a shame, the display is gorgeous. I am not looking forward to a Dell tech ripping my notebook apart.

    It just may be simple thing like cable being not plugged correctly.
