Ok i got a ring from Dell today but was not able to pick up the phone. Instead i got a message where i had to choose at which time i wanted the laptop to arrive, i choose between 12 and 5pm. Anyway i also got a letter were i got my customer number and order number. I checked and the estimated delivery date is 25th of January. The status of my oder is "out for delivery" does this mean i will recieve my XPS M1530 one day after the phone call or will i get another call with someone telling me the exact date?

All help appreciated! I really need to know because my mum is willing to let me have one day of school to take the delivery lol so i need to know when it is :D

Out for delivery normally means your computer is on the delivery truck. You should follow the tracking link under your dell account to see exactly what's up with your specific carrier (I my area Dell uses DHL but I don't know if that's country wide).

not sure what call lock out meant either.

its nothing to do with us because nobody called, so I assume its one of their checks.

mine has reached the UK, and i imagine yours will reach the UK tomorrow. its a place called Hinckley.

Yep, it should arrive before 1pm on wednesday 23rd!

have fun playing with your new computer!
