    hi...i have a dell latitude d600,,,i don't have the discs for reinstallation and drivers...
    i plan a fresh reinstall...after wiping the hard drive:
    --can i use my dell xp-pro-sp2 that came with my dell desktop???for reinstalling the OS

    --did anybody try "drivermagician" for reisnatlling the drivers after a fresh install?......i guess it works..but i want to hear from you..

    Don't use driver magician, you don't need it. Just go to dells website and download all the drivers you need for your computer and burn them to a disk prior to the reinstall of xp.

    If your laptop is licensed for XP pro (which it probably is) then you can use that xp pro disk you have from your desktop to reinstall xp on your laptop.

    thanks,,i know i can get the drivers from dell....
    but..my question rely on this program...if somebody have any issues with it.
