    Dell latitude d630 sound card

    I have a 7.1 speaker set and was wondering if the sound card could use all of them, other dell laptops can, but im not sure about this one. HELP ME

    The D630 has 5.1 surround sound, so it may not utilise the speakers to their full potential.

    Get an external soundcard (from creative or the like) that has an optical or spdif out. (that is if you dont have a cheap-o 7.1 setup.)
