For the specs I have read, if you get the AV option that comes with a broadband access antenna, you still need to buy another option for $200 plus for the Verizon minicard? I already have a verizon account, can I access this with the broadband antenna option w/o buying the mincard option? Also this laptop does not have a pc card slot correct? I have a verizon pc card but need the slot on the laptop. Please help.

Yes that is correct. You have to buy the verizon card because there is no PC card slot on the M1210. Most dual core have moved away from PCMCIA slots (which is what the verizon card is) and have gone to a PC express card. This is why you need to buy the Verizon minicard.

The AV option is the antenna I believe. It also includes headphones, and a webcam.

Based on other's reviews, this is worth it eventhough it is a bit expensive. You don't have anything sticking out of the laptop. You'll have access to the net anywhere you go. Don't have to worry about finding a hotspot.
