I've just gotten my Dell m1530 and when I connect the laptop to my external display via the DHMI port to the ViewSonic VP201 20" LCD using 1600x1200 I small horizontal flickr lines on the external display. I do not see these horizontal lines with other resolutions.

Does anybody have an idea what could be causing the problem? If I remote desktop into my old XP machine from my Dell then the screen is shown just fine in RDP sesson. Ive never had and issue with my ViewSonic VP201 screen before and been using the DVI input for years.
