    Dell media remote (the full size one)

    I just tried using it on my desktop, an ancient dimension 3000 windows xp, and i cant get it to install itself without any software, is it vista only or some crap? Anyone who has one got it to work on their computer?

    That remote only works if you have the IR adapter for it. You should have a USB IR port that the remote uses. Also you have to have Windows Media Center 2005.

    I do have the adapter for it, but i have no clue if i have the media center or not, is there a way to check?

    You can't miss it. It has a Media Center icon and you can watch TV through it.
