has anyone received an XPS recently (past week or so) that has SP1 upgrade even though it wasn't offered during time of configuration?

    ordered 5/9
    Shipped 5/31
    will have it by 6/6

I ordered a Vostro on May 20, received it on May 28th, and it did not have SP1 installed or on the disk included. Since yours was shipped a week later, maybe you'll get lucky. FWIW, I installed SP1 without incident.

Ordered may 12, received May 30 (last Friday). No SP1.

Coincindently, I'm installing it right this minute. 12% through Stage 2 of 3. Now 13%...er, 14%...uh, forget it.
