Just checked the website and it is now up to 300. I remember other members mention that Dell jacks up the prices on certain things in order to make up for the savings amount. Does anyone know what they added, subtracted?

I'm referring to the xps 1530 laptop.

get the lowest ram and HD configurations and upgrade them yourself. It's 1) cheaper 2) you can choose quality brands.
