Is it my imagination or did the order status line change sometime in the past 12 hours?

It WAS very helpful before, now it gives like no information at all...

Yep, changed since yesterday. It doesn't mention anything about 'stages' anymore, just that my order was 'processed'. Oh well...

I just checked on my order status. You are right. They changed the automated line. Now it does not give you any detailed information like it use to.

It looks like if you dial 1-800-385-3355 (1 800 buy dell) and hit option 1, you can still get to the good automated status system... the one that doesnt suck horribly

Oh man...now that number only gives useless information too! "Your order has been 'processed.'

My EDD has been moved from the 6th to the 13th, according to the website, and it can't seem to decide on whether I'm pre-production or in-production. GRR!

Mine says something similar "your order is being processed". Does anyone get any info on the "my account" page at the website anymore? It's been awhile since i've ordered a system from Dell, but it used to show under the "my recent orders" section almost immediately after the order was placed. Mine says "no recent orders to display".

What the heck was dell thinking when they changed this? Now the 800 # gives no info at all that's useful. "your order is in process".... does that even mean? Is it being built? Tested? Packed?...i dont see the logic in this change.
