I live in the far east coast of canada and aparently it takes bloody forever to get here, ordered on the 9th saposed to be delivered on the 26th. but from the Purolator site it left Toronto on thursday (the 15th). Should it be early, like before next weekend or should I expect it on the 26th. I know its crazy to be like this, but im just excited to get my new laptop, something half decent for once. This whole shipping thing makes me check order status like 5 times a day.

Please share your expirence with dell shipping, this is my 1st time so im very impaitent.

    I know the feeling :) .

I don't think there's any point in checking more than once a day in the early morning. When it says "on the truck out for delivery" or something like that, then get excited.

If you're like me you'll have to be absent for 10 minutes on that day and that's exactly when the Purolator guy will drop by. Then you have to go and pick it up yourself at some far away depot.

The crappy screen was forced upon me. I originally had a 1640 with a rgbled screen but it crapped out on me so they replaced it with this. I'm calling tomorrow morning to freak on them.

compared to the rgbled it may be crappy, but from a general pov is it still crap ? im not looking for perfection, i wanted a decent laptop with some chops but nothing crazy good. i couldnt afford the extra 100 for the 1080p one, and for me it wouldnt be that usefull. But what im saying is that, is it like as good as most average or worse or better?

I wish the RGB was stil available but its a shame.
