Hey all, I'm new to this forum and hoping for a bit of advice. I am planning to buy a refurbished Studio 1555 from Dell Outlet for around $600. My question is, should I spring for the 2 year warranty (it comes with a 1 year warranty standard) for an extra $170? It just seems like a lot to spend considering that the computer itself is only $600. Though, I've never bought from Dell Outlet before so I don't know the potential for getting a lemon. Any opinions on this would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Just get the standard 1 year for now. You can add more later on; you don't have to do it all at the time of purchase. My 1 year warranty is about three weeks from expiring, and I'm considering adding another year.

You have the 1 year warranty which is more than enough in my opinion. Use it for about 10 months and see if you want to extend the warranty then.

Okay, good to know that I can extend the warranty later if I choose to. Thanks for the replies!
