Has anyone had any experience with Dell outlet. I was looking at a refurbished Dell Inspiron 1501. Is this a good deal?

I got the E1505 I'm typing on from the outlet... about $300 off what I would have paid. I'll never buy straight from Dell again.

I bought the one in my sig, and an E1505 from outlet ( refurb, scrach and dent ) no problem at all. Get one of the dual core ones, other than that it looks like a decent deal.

I bought one through the Dell Outlet a few years back and it was fine. I do believe there is one difference and that is the return deadline is only 21-days vs. 30-days for new systems. I am not positive so you might want to verify that before buying if could be a factor in how you decide to proceed.

    Dell Outlet

    Dell

Close... it seems that both are 21 days minus some exceptions for servers etc which are still 30 days
