I'm not sure why, but it took two phone calls to the parts dept. to get a hard drive carrier/cradle for my e1505. The part was cheap at around $11, but it was difficult to order... If they just spent about an hour a day to update the website with parts, I would not have any problems.

So what exactly were you trying to order? A hard drive caddy just to hold the hard drive or one that goes into the optical drive for a second hard drive?

What happened to the old one that came with your machine? It's kind of hard to break that - unless you 'totalled' your e1505.

It's a hard drive caddy just to hold the hard drive. I picked up another 2.5" sata drive and want to easily swap it with my original. One for travel without a lot of personal info. and one for home.

@thetick97 - I really reccomend you not swap out your main hard drive all the time. If there is a modular bay hard drive, that's another story. You are going to subject your notebook to a lot of wear and tear, and a lot of junk is going to get into the area where the hard drive connects to the motherboard.

Instead, get a 2.5" external case for your second hard drive. Its dirt cheap - as low as 9$ at Fry's Electronics, and it runs off of USB. Plus, you can use both your main hard drive and the external one at once.
