    Hi all.
I'm new here. I'd to explaim a problem with a laptop I have. It's a Dell Inspirion r7010. I bought it an year ago. Now I have a problem with the GPU due to the high temperature. An hour ago I applied a brand new thermal paste, but the idle temp is at about 60°C. When I try to play a game the temperature raises sadly at about 100°C...
I'd like to know if I have to search for theramal pads, or may someone can help me to figure out why the temperature can't be lowered...

I think this is a bad repaste job, reapply the thermal paste by patting a dab of thermal paste in the center of the GPU die and let the pressure of the heatsink spread it.

    As for the CPU :

    Thermal pads : Fujipoly Premium System Builder Thermal Pad - 1/4 Sheet - 150 x 100 x 0.5 - Thermal Conductivity 6.0 W/mK - FrozenCPU.com . Make sure you're buying the right sized one.

    Good luck :)
