My first post I have recently been given a I-8600 by Dell for went bad I8500, this unit has a DVD RW dirve but the folks at dell have sent me a manual that has not a stitch of information on this drive.
Dell will *not* co-operatefor they tell me that the manual has been discountinued and I don't buy that at all. Could anyone here help me out the module says LBL P/N 7W036-A01, Input number 5V....2.8A the characters seen beteen the 5V 2.8A are unrecognizeable.

The manual sent is PP02X dated August 2003, but the MSN systems manager when asked gave a entirely different OS than model sent. There is one 15 pin mini din port but manual shows 3 like my returned 3 port I8500. Updated of WUGA and a 80 GB hard drive have been seen but not the blue speed stick seen in the sent manual. 2.0GHz Itel Pentium M processor, 64MB Nevidia graphics, 512MB SDRAM single Dimm from I8500 2.2GHz Intel Pentium 4 512MB from 2-256 double dimm that refused to boot after Dell representative asked that I open the memory and take out the 2 chips then poof it would not boot anymore. Thanks in advance I hope I will be able to be a good member of this forum found thru www.google.com.[ :)]
