i placed my order on 09/13/08...
Est Dev Date was 09/29/08 on the online tracking system...
called cust serv a few days before...said 09/29 is actually the SHIP date...
called cust serv after 09/29...apparently they claim that the dating system is very aggressive... and usually computers are shipped after the fact (which is know is pure bull****)...
neways now the Est Ship Date as of 10/07/08 is now 10/16/08...
they expect to ship out a laptop after a flipping month? ***...
i bought an inspiron 13 and the same exact spec is now available for $150 cheaper... what kind of service is this?
already called customers service like 10 times over the last 4 months...and instead of offering me a reason or a solution and even after escalating the call.... i told them i was a student and didn't have a home computer coz my last one broke down and was in need of a computer asap...and the only service they provided me was to suggest me to CANCEL my order... they just cannot give me a reason no matter how many times i escalate the call!!! i even offered to change my specs if any of the items are backtracked...but they keep assuring me that all the parts are readily available and this is just normal and that i should be patient...will sorry... i think to receive a product AFTER a month is just ridiculous
i officially hate dell. canceling my order tomorrow.

Cancel and re-order, you should have done this least 2 weeks ago. and Plus order now if you will and save yourself $150...
