    On Mar 28th, I purchased a Sharp Aquos from Dell.com Sharp 39-inch LED TV - LC- 39LE440U Aquos 1080p 60Hz HDTV : TVs - LED, LCD, Internet TVs & Accessories | Dell

This purchase was a gift to a friend which I gave on May 18th. When it was opened, the internal display panel was cracked and the TV was inoperable. There was no visible damage to the original box or the exterior of the panel.

A call to Dell yielded a referral to Sharp for warranty repair. Sharp claims since it was damaged in shipping that repair under warranty is N/A. Dell now refuses to replace or refund because the issue was not reported within 30 days of purchase.

Dell has my money and my friend has an inoperable item purchased from Dell. Can a Dell Client Support Specialist please email me at: HOCKEYSTL at YAHOO dot com?

    Thank you in advance.
