This is my first Dell and first time ordering a computer online. I'm ordering the E1505. Have any of you ever ordered a dell, customized it, and like Dell messed up one or two of the stuff you asked for? Maybe you wanted a certain addition and they added something else?

    I had no mix-ups with the 2 Dell's I have ordered so far. I don't think that it's a concern.

No problems here. If there was one, I would think that ordering online would be more reliable than over the telephone since you don't need to have a person in between you and the final order in the computer system.

If something is wrong they will take care of it quickly, and probably offer you a credit or gift card for your trouble. Chances are very high that your order will be just fine, dont worry about it.

If they get your order wrong thats actually a good thing in my opinion. Then you get gift cards, free upgrades, etc.

If anything, you will probably notice that they upgraded you. I got several pieces of optional software included and an extra battery that I didnt pay for.
