Here's the story- Laptop wasn't supposed to ship till 8/15, but i came home Thursday night (8/9) and saw it had shipped. I'm moving back to school on Monday and wasn't planning to have the computer but since it got moved up i called dell to see if they could get here by saturday. I then proceeded to spend a few hours going between dhl and dell figuring out who could help me. Finally a dell rep PROMISES me that it'll be here by sunday :mask: Anyway tonight i call DHL and they basically say dell lied and there's no way in hell i'll get it before monday. Can't wait till customer service opens tommorow so i can tear'em a new one.

    Cliffs:
-Order shipped early, leaving for school monday and try to get it delivered on sat
-dell rep promises it'll be here by sat, dhl says that's BS
    -i'm pissed

With a start like that, "Dude, your not gonna get a Dell!!!"

First, Dell Reps lie all the time but, if its not in their power in the end, its not a lie.

No deliveries on Sat...thats a given.

If you think your alone, read the threads...your story is one in a million.

Ide advise to approach it with a cool head.

i thought they could deliver on sat if dell requests it. I know there's a lot of other stories, this was just my rant to get this off my chest

they can deliver on sat but.... when dell puts in the change request that alone can take up to 48hrs.. so by that time you will have it on monday.. also if its in transit already they cant do anything about it at all.. they can (dhl) try to help if they want be rushing it thorugh as they did for me... but if not then you'll have to wait.. sucks i know
