C'mon people aren't we getting ridiculous in the complaint department here? I mean I might start crying with the rest of you if my Dell is garbage, but some of these complaints are getting more and more far fetched...

Dell has been nothing but amazing to me and for me. i'm going on my 4th system from them since my very 1st desktop back in the mid 90's. never had any complaints or issues ever. ::knock on wood::

dell is a lot better than some of the other companies out there
. plus you need to just wait for the issues on new comps to be resolved. Every company has a few bad computers at the start of a new model, but they get fixed and everyone is happy. Just give some time

Ya, my family has been ordering Dell since the beginning of time. My Dad orders them for his business. I've only had one problem and the warranty covered it (had my laptop back within 4 days). I think Dell is great and I've enjoyed their computers. I actually went shopping around looking at other laptops and wound up coming back to Dell because I was unimpressed with competitors selection/reliability.

im waiting on my vostro, but i've only used dell computers up to now, and have never had a problem with dell at all.

I'm closing this only because I don't see good things in store for this thread. There are several other places where this type of discussion can be continued.
It is good to see some positive feedback, but this isn't really helping anyone.
