Hi,
I finally got a replacement laptop sorted today which should be arriving at some point in the next whenever, the representative has given me an order number I cant seem to use, but collection has been arranged for my old laptop for next tuesday.
Now, at 11:08pm, i receive an email...Ok i thought, great it's just a delayed email confirming my replacement, hurray!
Or not. I click the link they supply to track it and notice its already been shipped, very odd. Clicking for more details shows me it's a mouse...
Looking at that I would have thought maybe an act of compensation or something? The I look at the address....which is completely different to mine. I confirmed my address to them so they have it correct but this address it's meant to be delivered to (the mouse) is just completely random...even the name is wrong (it's addressed to a "MR. ALEX SOLOMON")....and even the billing address is wrong (this time it's my old address)
Umm...what do you think's going on?
I would ring them up and ask what's going on but I simply cannot ring them or receive a call from them during their working hours, its why my problem has taken a few months to resolve....what do you think?

It sounds like your email and billing address got mixed up with Mr. Alex Solomon. If the shipping address isn't yours, then don't expect a mouse to appear on your doorstep. You may want to get on Dell Chat and talk with a sales rep, to make sure you don't get charged for it.

Yeah - looks like Dell screwed up. This actually quite bad, because if you were sent Mr. Alex Solomon's shipping address, then who knows what personal information of yours was sent to Mr. Alex Solomon. Get on the phone with Dell and get this sorted out.
BTW, I can't find a chat link for Dell Home Customer Care anymore. I thought this option was removed? I thought now only Dell Home Tech Support can be reached by chat.
Dell sends a mouse out randomly?
