my dell studio 1435 only 6 month old. its worked fine. but suddenly its screen started to malfunction. cant boot it because screen colors changed and getting brighter and brighter. funny thing is day before this happen, it worked fine. i have connect it to a external display. but it didn't worked. so i remove the screen from the laptop and then connect to a external monitor. then after it worked fine.
technician told me the display controlling chip has the problem.
is it possible to replace the chip of the screen circuit board?
can we replace any screen that fit to previous screen specification?
i mean if size(14.1"),resolution, connector matched with any other brand LCD can i fix it to dell?
what are the compatible LCD screens? where i can buy matching LCD?(used/new)
i cant clam warranty because, i buy it not form my country.

If it's a problem with a chip on the motherboard, you're going to need to replace the entire board. Granted that the display is fine without the screen, I'd say the board isn't at fault. If you're going to replace the LCD, you need to find a 14" LCD that was made for the 1435. Others may work, but LCDs aren't that standardized.

Depending on your country, you might want to try eBay, but for many places there just aren't that many good places?

Don't worry about the model or specifications... just make sure your supplier is selling a screen for the 1435. And if it doesn't work, you can get Paypal to get your money back.
