The build quality of the Studio 1745 is pretty good.
It is better than my HP laptop.

However, I notice its harddrive is located pretty close to the DVD drive, which vibrates a lot when in use.

Does Dell offer any anti-vibration mechanism for its Harddrive in the studio 17 series?

I think it has the Seagate anti-vibration software.
